ESL Narasimhan, the Governor of Telugu states, has maintained stoic silence on being questioned about the controversial section-8. Yesterday, the Governor, along with his wife, visited the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam and offered special prayers. Speaking about the ongoing battle between the Telugu states, the Governor said that the Lord Balaji will take care of the safety of both the states.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor told to media that the Lord Balaji has told him that he will look after the peace and harmony of the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The states' first person also said that the god will save the people of Telugu states and appealed them to please maintain patience and restraint.
For the past three weeks, intense situations prevailed in both the Telugu states due to the bloody battle of words between the leaders of TRS and TDP, along with the CMs of both the states. It is known that following the cash for vote scandal and the phone tapping row, the TDP demanded the centre to implement the section-8 as per the state's reorganization law.
