Recently happened enquiry on Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi by Delhi Police has created storm in Parliament. The issue of Congress VP Rahul Gandhi's snooping incident rocked Parliament on Today. Congress leaders demanded the Home Minister to come to Parliament and make a statement on the issue. They remarked, "This is not a police state, India is proud of its democracy."

"Is the government trying to create fear among political parties by way of such snooping," questioned  Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad and said, "Rahul Gandhi is an SPG protectee and how come Delhi Police suddenly needed to know such private details, like the colour of eyes and shoe number, from the Congress vice-president?" The home minister Arun Jailetly has given clarification on this issue that Police has done their duty.
