Seperate High court to Telangana: Division Bench to give it's verdict

Seperate High court to Telangana

The division bench comprising chief justice Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta and justice P.V.Sanjay Kumar of the Hyderabad High court directed the Registry to list a PIL challenging the delay in the constitution of separate high courts for both states.

The Dhangopal Rao practising advocate in the High court as a party in person moved the plea stating that the union law minister has announced that delay in division of the high court.

The chief minister of Telangana had already announced that his government is ready for any arrangement and will shift the state high court to new premises within 24 hours.

He urged the court to declare the act of AP Chief Minster in delaying concurrence as illegal. The Registry had raised an objection for listing the case for hearing as the petitioner made Registrar (Vigilance) of the High Court a party to the petition.

The bench asked the petitioner to delete the Registrar as a party to the petition as the official was not concerned with the establishment of the High Court. When the petitioner agreed to the deletion, the bench directed the Registry to list the case.
