Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday said that in the land pooling exercise which is to conclude on February 28, the state government has collected 25,000 acres from farmers.
For the first phase of core area construction activity, Chandrababu Naidu said that about 37,000 acres are required and for the core area of state capital construction including Assembly, Secretariat, courts, key department and police establishments – 35 to 40, 000 acres are needed by the government.
Also, the Chief Minister said that Singapore and Andhra Pradesh have a lot of similarities – work culture environment, hard working people and transparent administration. Chandrababu Naidu said that Singapore was chosen as it was a pioneer in conceptualizing plans for urban developments.
The CM added that he built Cyberabad, the epicenter of economic activity in the state capital; hence knows how to build the new capital too in Andhra Pradesh.
