During the recently concluded TDP Mahanadu conclave, Malla Reddy stole the show with his scathing attack on Telangana CM KCR in Chandrababu's presence. In his speech, Malla Reddy called KCR's 1 year governance as 'Pichchi Tuglaq' rule. Further criticizing KCR, Malla Reddy said that the development scene in Hyderabad has lost its shine in key sectors like employment creation and business in the last one year.

Lashing out at KCR's Swachh Hyderabad mission, Malla Reddy said that the entire cleanliness drive was a flop show and a huge waste of money. The MP also said that he will forever be indebted to his god Chandrababu for giving him the party ticket in 2014 general elections.

Shockingly while in KCR's presence during the recent distribution of land pattas for the poor in Malkajgiri constituency, Malla Reddy praised KCR and called him the messiah of the poor and called him the god of Telangana people. Not stopping here, the TDP MP further said that separate Telangana has got an efficient CM in KCR and that all Telanganites must be thankful to him and that 'Bangaru Telangana' will become a reality only in KCR's reign.
