Hyderabad: The last chief minister of united AP N. Kirankumar Reddy's political isolation seems to be prolonging as his efforts to join BJP are reportedly being blocked by Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
According to reports, the Naidu duo is worried that the entry of Kiran Kumar Reddy into the party may bring about the influx of Reddys into the party sooner than later reducing the Kamma-BC domination in the dispensation with BJP.
Kirankumar Reddy , as the protagonist of united AP, fought till the last moment to keep the state united but his fight did not carry conviction with the masses.
His political party did not get a single seat in the last elections resulting in political eclipse for a leader who wanted to keep the state united.
To comeback to the central stage of politics in the state, Kirankumar Reddy wanted to join the BJP but a strong lobby led by the Naidu duo is opposing it.
Will he ever be able to join the BJP is the question being raised by political circles in the state
