With as many as 54 people succumbing to death this year due to the deadly H1N1 virus, fresh cases of swine flu are being reported in Telangana.

From 139 samples tested on Wednesday, 33 were found positive with the viral infection.

According to a health bulletin, the statistics showed that as many as 4,381 samples have been tested so far in this year and 1,385 emerged positive with death toll reaching 54.

There has been a decline in intensity for the last six days in the number of positive cases reported.

Also, the health bulletin issued stated that sufficient stock of medicines were available at different hospitals and public is advised to take necessary precautions.
