Hyderabad: Deputy Chief Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali on Thursday held a review meeting on arrangements being made for the Iftar party to be hosted by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on behalf of the State government at Nizam College grounds on July 12.
Members of the Task Force committee for Iftar party, Director General of ACB A K Khan, Secretary (Political) Vikas Raj, Secretary (Minorities Welfare) Omar Jaleel, Director (Protocol) Arvinder Singh and several other officials met him at his chambers in Telangana Secretariat during the afternoon.
The committee thoroughly discussed the arrangements to be made at the venue among other things that are connected with Iftar. The Deputy Chief Minister asked the officials to ensure that the items listed in menu were served to everyone. Since some of the foreign dignitaries are attending the Iftar party, he termed this as an opportunity for the government to reflect Hyderabadi culture and protect its brand image.
The committee members assured the Deputy Chief Minister that all the guests would be made to feel satisfied with the arrangements and the entire programme would be a hassle-free.
