Justice PV Sanjay Kumar of the High Court at Hyderabad on Tuesday directed Additional Commissioner GHMC and Commissioner Food Safety not to make public the test results of food samples collected at KFC from the city. The judge was dealing with a petition filed by Yum Restaurants India Pvt Ltd.

The petitioner contended that action of the Commissioner was contrary to the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 and if the authorities release the results of the sample tests will tarnish the image of the company. The judge granted time for the officials to file their counter.
