Hyderabad: Will the low percentage of polling in the MAA elections bring about the victory of actor Rajendra Prasad as MAA (Movie Artistes Association) president?

Common and third-rung artistes think that Rajendra Prasad panel will take over the MAA reins if the low percentage of polling is any indication.

A small time artist, Nageswara Rao said that most of the artistes  casting their votes are small time artistes who are solidly backing Rajendra Prasad.

"If all members from the families of the top heroes and senior actors do not turn up, the result will go in favour of Rajendra Prasad, " he said . The reasoning was supported by other common artists who were present.

According to reports, 351 members of MAA , out of a total of more than 730, had cast their votes  by 1 PM. Polling will close by 2 PM as per the court orders.
