When Rajendra Prasad being promoted as unanimous President position contestant for 22 days, Jayasudha sprang a surprise entry in the name of women-power for the latest MAA elections. Many doubts have raised how could she file nomination even after the time for nominations and without attending in person. As some accuse that Rule are flouted to do favours to Jayasudha and some calling that Rajendra Prasad is arrogant for the post of MAA President, a Movie Artist has approached court now.

A small time actor named Kalyan has now lodged a petition in City Civil Court to withhold the ongoing the elections of Movie Artists Association. He accused in his petition that the elections are being conducted against the by-laws and requested the court to change election officers. Earlier it used to be just 2500 rupees for nomination but now it got changed to 10,000 rupees, the petitioner pointed out. Arguments over this petition are likely to happen today. We have to see what happens to the already politicised MAA elections where contestants are no less than our gully politicians who split venom and mud on each other in election rallies.
