Says TPCC is formulating a plan to conduct Dalit Tribal Simha Garjana soon
Nalgonda: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, on Wednesday alleged that the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had completely failed to implement the promises made by him to Dalits and Tribals before coming to power.
Speaking at a media conference, which was organised at the residence of Nalgonda M P Gutha Sukender Reddy in Nalgonda town, Uttam Kumar said KCR was not sincere in fulfilling his promises to Dalits and Tribals in the State. His promise of making Dalit as a Chief Minister after formation of Telangana State was also not fulfilled, the Congress leader pointed out.
“Protesting the attitude of KCR government towards Dalits and Tribals, the TPCC is formulating plan to conduct Dalit, Tribal Simha Garjana within a month,” he informed. Reminding 900 farmers in the State committed suicides, Uttam Kumar Reddy strongly criticised KCR for not consoling the families of farmers who took the extreme step. He demanded the State government pay Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to the family of these deceased farmers.
