Hyderabad: Was the fierce election to Movie Artistes Association (MAA) president wherein senior actors Jaya Sudha and Rajendra Prasad had thrown their hats triggered by industry veteran Dasari Narayana Rao?

Reports said that the fight between Jaya Sudha and Rajendra Prasad was actually a proxy war reflecting the cold war between mega star Chiranjeevi and veteran director Dasari Narayana Rao.

Reports said that soon after Rajendra Prasad has announced his candidature, Chiranjeevi's brother Nagababu had announced his support to him.

Dasari reportedly thought that Chiranjeevi was behind all this. The director then manipulated his clout with actor Murali Mohan and ensured that Jaya Sudha would announce her candidature with a clear view of defeating Rajendra Prasad, a candidate who he thought was sponsored by the mega star, according to reports.

We have to see how Dasari Narayana  Rao will react to these media reports.
