Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao today said that his department is preparing the  design for the  new Secretariat building to come up at Erragadda near Sanathnagar.

Speaking to media persons here,  the minister said that R and B wing is preparing a perfect design for the new Secretariat building  to cater to the needs,  he said. It may be noted that the chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has recently announced Rs 150 crore for the new Secretariat building to come up at Erragadda wherein a Chest Hospital is now  located. This hospital is to be shifted elsewhere to Vikarabad as per the state government plans. Despite stiff objection from opposition parties, the state government is firm on its decision to shift the secretariat to a new location.
