Sexist Remarks On IAS Officer,Outlook Magazine Faces The Brunt,Outlook Magazine,Hyderabad Central Crime Station police,IAS officer Smita Sabharwal,sexist remarks against Smita Sabharwa
A case has been filed by the Hyderabad Central Crime Station police against the management of Outlook magazine and employees for an article in the magazine’s ‘Deep throat’ column having sexist remarks against IAS officer Smita Sabharwal.
The IAS officer’s husband Mr Akun Sabarwal, who is an IPS(Indian Police Service) officer filed a complaint on the basis which the police have registered the case.
The case was registered under Section 509 and Section 3 and 6 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition Act) 1986 and the charges were filed against Outlook's Editor-in-Chief Krishna Prasad, cartoonist Shaahil, assistant editor Madhavi Tata and others.
