In a shocking incident, sincere IAS officer DK Ravi was dead under mysterious circumstances. Ravi's body was found hanging at his residence in Bengaluru on Monday evening. According to police, Ravi committed suicide at his residence on Monday morning and his body was lying hanging to the ceiling. 2009 batch IAS officer Ravi was well-known as honest IAS officer as he fought tooth and nail against illegal sand mafia by real estate companies.

Ravi had exposed big wig construction builders for committing tax frauds and the firms which evading taxes. He was posted as Deputy Commissioner in Kolar. Ravi's sudden death has come as a major shocker and it once again thrown light on underlying mafia power.

More details are yet to be furnished. What's irony is that cops declaring it as a suicide and not even expressing doubts of a suspected foul play in the sudden death of a young IAS officer.
