Several workers of the Socialist Unity Centre of India (SUCI) were injured on Thursday in a clash with Kolkata police here.
SUCI workers were protesting against the policies of the Trinamool Congress government in West Bengal when they were confronted by police in central Kolkata.
Police later resorted to lathi-charge to disperse the protesters.
As per reports, several SUCI workers were injured in the melee.
