Within hours after Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao announced his decision to develop roads leading to Yadagirigutta shrine at a review meeting held there, the Roads and Building Department sanctioned funds. Roads and Buildings Minister Tummala Nageswara Rao issued directions to officials to release Rs 80 crore for widening the existing two-lane road from Raigiri-Yadagirigutta (nearly 6 km) to four-lane road.
 
Also, Rs 10 crore has been sanctioned for building two-lane road from Turkapalli-Yadagirigutta. He ordered authorities to call for tenders on Thursday and ensure work completion by June.
