Nalgonda: The TRS activists on Thursday staged protest against the visit of YSRCP leader Y S Sharmila at Hill Colony of Nagarjuna Sagar in the district. Sharmila came to the Hill Colony to console the family members of Venkata Narsaiah, who died following the sudden demise of late chief minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy.

When the convoy of Sharmila reached the Hill Ccolony, TRS workers stopped it and raised slogans, protesting against her tour in Telangana State. They also made it clear that Sharmila had no right to tour in Telangana State.  Reacting to it, the police swung into action and dispersed the TRS activists. After hearing the pathetic condition of the family after death of Venkata Narsaiah, Sharmila, was moved to tears and assured the family of help.
