Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender has taken a dig at the financial status of the truncated state of Andhra Pradesh. Belittling the AP in his usual style, Rajender said, "Now Andhra Pradesh in a status where it can't even pay salaries to its employees." Etela made fun of AP's status and alleged that "AP is going through this rough phase because its leaders earlier robbed Telangana assets."

It may be recalled that the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh was held in a hush-hush manner making a gross injustice to the truncated state of AP by not sharing the revenue of capital Hyderabad and thus carving out Telangana with surplus budget and capital leaving the mother state Andhra Pradesh behind with deficit budget.
