Questioning the reason behind no action being taken against AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy stated that despite clear evidence against the Chief Minister in the cash for vote scam.

On Friday YS Jagan consoled the family members of deceased fishermen at Paropet in Kakinada, Pagadalapet and Uppalanka villages. Addressing the media, YS Jagan said that the moral standards Chandrababu chanted on issue of former Governor N.D. Tiwari’s case was not able to apply it for himself.

Stating that the Section 8 of AP Reorganisation Act was taken up by Chandrababu only to divert people’s attention from his misdeeds in cash for vote scam, YS Jagan said that Chandrababu should strive instead for AP Special Status.

Also, Jagan said that the Chief Minister should take responsibility for the missing fishermen in the sea as proper alerts were not taken on the cyclonic storm and other rough weather conditions. Alleging further that the government had not distributed essential commodities to the fishermen, Jagan said that he would fight with the government for welfare of fishermen.
