Telugu Desam Party (TDP) is facing more down hill as three more MLA's are shifting their loyalties towards TRS. Soon after GHMC elections ended, there has been huge buzz in political circles as there were huge defections.
Already ten TDP MLA's have defected to TRS and right now they are looking to merge their legislature party with ruling party. TDP won 15 seats in Assembly and now has already lost 10 of its MLA's to TRS.
Right now, names of Arekapudi Gandhi (Serilingampally), Maganti Gopinath (Jubilee Hills) and Sandra Venkata Veeraiah (Sattupalli) are doing the rounds as potential defectors, R.Krishnaiah (LB Nagar) has chosen to be an Independent member rather than being associated with the TDP or joining the TRS.
If this happens, TDP will be left with just Revant Reddy and he alone will carry the voice of TDP in assembly. Errabelli Dayakar Rao who recently switched to TRS said, "Leave these 3 MLA's, entire TDP including its village level committees are going to be merged with TRS. This is now just a formality."
