AP privilege committee met today to discuss on YCP MLA Roja Selvamani's suspension. After the meeting, the committee ordered some of YCP MLAs to present before the committee on March 14.
As per the reports, YCP MLAs Roja, Chevireddy Bhaskar reddy, Kodali Nani, Nehru are being called by the committee.
Andhra Pradesh Assembly speaker Dr Kodela Sivaprasadarao has proior appointed a committee to look into the cirumstances that led to the suspension of YSR Congress Party MLA Roja for one year and all other issues associated with her suspension including leakage of footage of assembly proceeding to social media network.
Roja, had been suspended during the recently concluded Winter Session of the Assembly for using abusive language against chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and TDP MLA Anita. The incident led to commotion and derailed the proceedings of the House.
