Hype and hoopla around "Bajirao Mastani" is so high that the film is expected by cinema analysts to beat Rajamouli's magnum opus "Baahubali". Both being similar 120-150 crore budgeted projects, and having some epic content inside, it looked like a possibility for Maratha's Bajirao to paint upper hand on Mahismathi's Baahubali.
As "Bajirao Mastani" released the other day making nearly 14 crores 'gross' from Hindi version alone, and that's tremendous for sure. If numbers are the criteria, then 'Baahubali' made 50 crores 'gross' from all versions, and that astronomic figure is not within reach of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film for sure. First day figures are quite crucial to make huge totals- big start begets a big sum.
Talking about content, while Baahubali is high on adrenaline rushing stuff, Bajirao is more about heart squeezing emotional drama. War scenes in featuring Ranvir hardly last for 5 mins, while Baahubali would have remained silent only for 5 mins without going to war. To conclude, Baahubali and Bajirao are poles apart. Precisely, sky and a cloud!!
