Pawan's Johnny Lifted By Bollywood?

Pawan's Johnny Lifted By Bollywood?

Released in 2003, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan's Johnny launched him as a writer and director. The film, even though bombed miserably at the box-office, was appreciated for its technical finesse. In the film, Pawan played the role of a street fighter who participates in deadly bouts to earn money and save his terminally ill wife, played by his ex-wife Renu Desai.

Now, going by the just-released trailer of Kajal Aggarwal and Randeep Hooda-starrer Do Lafzon Ki Kahani, one can surely say that the film is a direct lift and it's a freemake of Johnny. In the Hindi version, Kajal plays a blind, free-spirited lady and Randeep Hooda, a tormented lover who gets into deadly street bouts to earn money for Kajal's eye operation.

However, the makers placed the film in Malaysia and even made the matters interesting with Kajal-Randeep Hooda's passionate lip lock. We will have to wait until the next Valentine's Day to know how smartly did the Bollywood makers lift Pawan's Johnny.
