The Indira Gandhi Centre for Atomic Research (IGCAR) has released an employment notification, inviting interested and eligible candidates to apply for the positions of Technician and stipendiary Trainee.
Stipendiary trainees category II candidates will have to undergo a training of two years duration.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
The candidates interested in applying for this post should have passed HSC (Physics, Chemistry, Maths) with 60 per cent marks or SSC (Science & Maths) with 60 per cent marks in aggregate and must have done ITI in relevant field with four years of experience in the relevant trade after completion of the ITI.
Age limit:
Technician C: The age of the candidates applying for this post must not exceed 27 years and must be minimum 18 years.
Stipendiary trainee category-II: The age of the candidates applying for this post must not exceed 22 years and must be minimum 18 years.
Relaxation in age will be provided as per the government norms.
Selection procedure
A written test and a trade test will be conducted for shortlisting the candidates.
Pay scale
Technician C: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly salary of Rs 5,200 to Rs 20,200 along with a grade pay of Rs 2,400.
Stipendiary trainee category-II: The selected candidates will be getting a monthly stipend of Rs 6,200.
