Four injured as students unions clash

Mahbubnagar: Four leaders of two students unions, two from each union, were injured when they clashed in Palamuru University campus here on Saturday following heated arguments over mess charges. Activists and leaders of BSFI and ABVP clashed with sticks and pelted stones on each other resulting in tension in the university campus.  

The police intervened and dispersed the clashing students. They injured Prithviraj and Srinivas of BSFI and Raju Naik and Lakshman of the ABVP were admitted at hospital for treatment.  Police were deployed in strength on university campus and a police picket was posted there to prevent unruly incidents in the campus.
