The ruling TDP in Andhra Pradesh had offered the YCP MLA of Rampachodavaram, Vanthala Rajeshwari, a sum of Rs 20 crore for defecting from the Jaganmohan Reddy party, according to her Party colleague, Giddi Eshwari, YCP MLA from Paderu.
Stating this, Eshwari said at the media point on Tuesday that there was no question of defecting from the YCP even if the ruling TDP offered them Rs 100 crore each.
The TDP was hatching all kinds of conspiracies to buy off the YCP MLAs, she alleged. They would, however, continue in the YCP party, come what may.
Eshwari said they were Girijans. It was because of their leader, Jaganmohan Reddy, that they could set their foot in the Assembly.
The Girijans were in a majority in the YCP. The TDP believed that the Girijans were easy game. That was why it was hatching all kinds of conspiracies. She urged the ruling party to desist from such attempts.
