The execution of celebrated revolutionist Bhagat Singh happened on March 23rd, 1931. Bhagat Singh was involved in the bomb blast inside the Central Assembly hall in New Delhi on April 8, 1929 that happened in protest against the British rule. Bhagat Singh also killed British Superintendent of Police Saunders on December 17, 1928. As a result, Mr. Singh was awarded the death sentence by the British a day earlier than the scheduled hanging in Lahore's Central Jail.
