Telangana IT Minister K Taraka Rama Rao is leaving no stone unturned to make the youngest state in the Country an Electronics Manufacturing Hub. KTR will present Telangana IT Policy on June 12th. The new policy which is likely to be investor-friendly is expected to draw huge investments from all over the World.

Micromax, an Indian mobile handset manufacturer, is keen on establishing a manufacturing facility in Telangana. Recently, A Delegation of Micromax toured Hyderabad to identify a suitable location for setting up the unit and also discussed the proposal with State Government. Micromax will be submitting a formal application to the Government regarding the manufacturing facility on June 12th.
 
Interestingly, Even Indian Cellular Association discussed with Telangana Government over the proposal of establishing a phone manufacturing hub in Hyderabad. A team from Foxconn, a Taiwanese electronics manufacturing firm, visits Hyderabad Today to estimate the growth opportunities in the region.
