The major plotter behind the kidnap attempt on Arabindo Pharma’s vice chairman Nityananda Reddy, AR constable Obulesh was produced before the Nampally court.  As the Obulesh also triggered firing with a stolen AK 47 at KBR park on that very day, the police requested the court to give them the custody of Obulesh for up to 7 days for the further investigation.

The Nampally court remanded Obulesh in a judicial custody till December 5. Initially Obulesh was taken to Osmania University where medical tests were conducted on him before he was produced in the court. The court adjourned the next trial of the case till Monday and later police took Obulesh to the Chanchal Guda police station in Hyderabad.
