New York: Business School Professor Srikanth Jagabathula bagged the prestigious 'Faculty Early Career Development Award' award from National Science Foundation.

In a span of 5 Years, Srikanth will be receiving a prize money of 5 lakh dollars (Rs 3.10 crore). He was choosen for the award for his research on 'Data-Driven Modeling & Learning Techniques'.

Srikanth is a native of Hyderabad and a former student of IIT Bombay. His research made the job of designing goods and finalising price tag of the product based on the quality & quantity much easier. Srikanth's application will be helpful in implementing new business model based on marketing, sales and insurance policies.
