Hyderabad: The Rs 5 crore worth bullet-proof bus of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was drawing criticism.

It should be reminded that KCR got a ultra-modern bullet-proof Mercedes Benz bus with a meeting hall, WiFi facility, bedroom and other facilities. The bus can face any security threat.

Congress lashed out at KCR's bus, saying that he (KCR) shows empty hand to implement poll promises but spends a king's ransom on a bus, exclusive for his use.

Earlier, T Congress Rajya Sabha Member V Hanumantha Rao questioned, "What did he do to face a life threat? Who will attack him and why? What is the need now to purchase a bus by paying crores of rupees?" He felt it was nothing but wasting crores of rupees of public money which otherwise could have used for a good cause.
