New Delhi:  Speaking to the media after meeting the MLAs, MPs, MLCs and officials of Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) here on Monday, Union Minister Venkaiah Naidu said ‘Waste to Energy and Waste to Compost' would be the targets of the www.pro6.co.uk Centre and all State governments would be encouraged to implement the programmes on a big scale as part of the ‘Swachch Bharat’ campaign too.

The team of public representatives and officials led by the deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali appealed to Naidu to release more funds for the Godavari pushkarams as only Rs 50 crore was given so far and also sought pending funds from the JNNURM for 200 buses for www.rahl.co.uk Hyderabad.

The team later met Union Defence Minister Manohar Parikkar and appealed to him to intervene in the road disputes of the GHMC with the Cantonment Board and resolve the same. Earlier during the day, the team, which arrived here late Sunday night, visited the Okhla Sewage Plant as www.fabsi.co.uk part of their study tour.
