Today Lok Sabha has witnessed counter of words for the issues raised by AICC president Sonia Gandhi over Andhra Pradesh by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu. Lok Sabha has witnessed the discussion on Andhra Pradesh Re-organisational Bill on today.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Venkaiah Naidu, speaking in Lok Sabha said that an error has been committed while drafting of Bill while dividing the united Andhra Pradesh into the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He said that during drafting the bill they said total AP Legislative Assembly members are 175, where 1/3rd of it will move to AP and they drafted as 1/3rd of 175 is 50, it is simple maths that 1/3rd of 175 is 58 and we, our government is rectifying the errors made by previous government while drafting separate Telangana state bill.
He added that he was happy after 9 months of general elections AICC president Sonia Gandhi has talked about the problems of AP.
