1. Carpal tunnel syndrome:
If you have been working for long on computers, then you might be at high risk of suffering from pain in your arm and hand. 2. 3. Poor posture: Yes, if you have a desk job that involves sitting for hours at a stretch, there are high chances that you might end you sitting in a wrong posture or stooped posture. This increases your risk of suffering from an arm pain. A poor posture increases the pressure on the spine, causing the muscles to become weak along with straining the nerves, leading to radiating pain in the arm. Here’s more on how a bad posture can make you unhealthy.

4. Cervical spondylosis:
Unlike pain in the left arm, pain that radiates down the right arm can be caused due to cervical spondylosis. If you are someone with an inactive lifestyle, spend long hours sitting or working on a computer, you are more likely to suffer from this degenerative condition that usually affects the spinal cord and bones. It also manifests as a sharp shooting pain in the arm with numbness or pins and needle sensation. Here are top 5 symptoms of cervical spondylosis.

5. Fibromyalgia: A rare condition that causes pain in the joints, fibromyalgia can lead to arm pain. In this condition, there is an interference in the blood flow to the nerve fibre of the palm, which causes muscle pain in the arm. When the arm pain is coupled with body pain, numbness in the limbs and chronic fatigue, it is more likely that you might be suffering from this condition.

6. Injury or joint pain:
In some cases, pressure or trauma to the nerve roots of the spinal cord can lead to arm pain. Moreover, not warming up properly before a workout can increase your risk of injuries leading to pain in your arm. Also, joint pain or arthritis can be manifested as a sharp pain in the joints of the arm.

If you experience arm pain rather than ignoring it or taking it lightly, consult your doctor to know the exact cause and get treated. It might lead to severe problems if left untreated for a long time. So be careful!
