Baahubali's win hailed in Telangana Assembly

Congratulating the makers of Baahubali for winning the National Award in the Best Film category, the Telangana State Assembly on Tuesday passed a resolution and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao heaped praises on SS Rajamouli's movie for establishing the primacy of the Telugu cinema.

Baahubali starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Tamannaah and Anushka Shetty in lead roles was made with a budget of Rs 120 crore and became the first South Indian film to gross over Rs 600 crore. Baahubali also won the National Award for the Best Special Effects.
