Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has reached Gujarat this morning to plan for the upcoming schedule of Sardaar Gabbar Singh, which will commence very soon. With this, doubts on Pawan's attendance during the Amaravati inaugural ceremony on the 22nd October have intensified. Recently, AP ministers Kamineni and Ayyanna met Pawan on the sets of Sardaar and handed over the invitation card to Amaravati foundation stone laying ceremony.
Even the AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu personally called Pawan and requested his presence during the historic event. But Pawan reportedly expressed his helplessness and told Babu that he really wants to attend the event but he will have to plan the Gujarat schedule since the dates of other actors have been locked already.
However, Pawan's logic does not seem convincing. Even if Pawan flies down to Vijayawada on the 22nd and spends a couple of hours at Amaravati and then flies back to Gujarat, it won't severely affect Sardaar's shooting in Gujarat as he can join the unit on the same day.
And even if the shoot gets delayed by a few days, it won't cause severe damage since there is anyway no hurry for the unit to complete the film in a rush since the film has already missed the Pongal race, thanks to numerous postponements of the film's shooting.
Pawan's absence on such an important day would send wrong signals across his fans and the Janasena cadres. The ball is now in Pawan's hands to decide if Amaravati inauguration is more important than Sardaar's shoot. Will Pawan spring out a last minute surprise and make it to the ceremony?
