TRS government will give free and quality education to Dalits, minorities and downtrodden and for this all SC, ST welfare hostels will be transformed in to residential schools. Reviewing the budget for education, KCR said that panchayats should be made responsible for the provision of basic facilities like water in schools. Even though the government has spent Rs. 20,000 crores on education, the results are poor, he observed.
