Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party's Telangana unit received a fresh jolt when the party's Kukatpally MLA Madhavaram Krishna Rao today called on Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao.

Krishna Rao's move, coming just a few days before the elections to the legislative council, is a significant development for TDP.

In the past itself, Krishna Rao had expressed his desire to jump over to Telangana Rashtra Samiti.

Hours ago, TDP-T leaders had met AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to discuss their strategy for the MLC elections. Soon after that meeting, Krishna Rao called on KCR in an anti-climax.
