Chandrababu Naidu seeks Tata group help for farm sector
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday sought the assistance of Tata Memorial Centre for the State’s primary sector mission.
A delegation of Tata Memorial Centre called on the Chief Minister at his Camp Office. The Chief Minister briefed the delegation about the initiatives of the government, like making agriculture profitable and to provide profit margin to the farmers.
He also directed the members to work towards increasing the yield of crops. “You can work in collaboration with ICRISAT, NABARD and Agricultural University,” he added. Stressing the need of providing best medical care to the people in the State, the Chief Minister said construction works of Homi Bhabha Cancer Hospital and Research Center must be completed in two years.
The delegates informed Naidu that the Cancer Hospital will emerge as a lifeline to patients coming from Southern and Eastern States of the country. Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas, Secretary to Chief Minister G Sai Prasad and others were present.
