The Met officer on Monday said that rain with thunderstorm likely to hit Telangana and it may rain in many places of north coastal Andhra Pradesh on May 12. On May 14, thunderstorm with squall may occur at isolated places in Telangana.

The maximum temperatures fell appreciably below normal at one or two places in Telangana and Rayalaseema, and rest of south coastal AP.

In Telangana, the highest maximum temperature of 40 degrees Celsius was recorded in Mahabubnagar The other recordings were: Adilabad 38, Bhadrachalam 36,Hakimpet 36, Hanmakonda 39, Hyderabad 38, Khammam 38, Medak 38, Nizamabad 38 and Ramagundam 39.
