Tensions prevailed for sometime with body of a Baby Girl being found at Platform No.1 on the premises of Guntur Railway Station.

On Tuesday morning, The Sweepers at the Railway Station found the plastic cover which wasn't claimed by anyone. Soon, Railway Police have been alerted and the bomb squad rushed to the spot. Everyone were shocked to find the body of a baby and there is a diaper around the waist of the infant.

Police suspect the baby might have breathed her last 5 to 6 days ago. They were now examining the CCTV footage at the Railway Station to nab the person who left the cover.

Due to RTC Employees strike, Railway Stations across the Telugu States have been witnessing heavy rush and incidents like this only traumatize the passengers.
