DSC examinations from today
DSC-2014 (Tet cum Tet) examinations are being conducted from today and will continue for three days.
The School Education department has made elaborate arrangements for the conduct of the examinations in a smooth way. In view of APSRTC employees strike, they have made alternative arrangements for shifting of the students to the examination centres.
The tests are being conducted to fill up 10,313 posts for which 4,20,702 candidates have applied and hall tickets have been issued to 3,97,294 and 3,75,164 candidates have downloaded the hall tickets through online. As many 23,408 candidates have been rejected on various technical grounds. As many as 2,239 candidates have brought AP Administration Tribunal orders and were allowed to take up the examination. However, the results of these candidates will be kept on withheld.
As many as 2,560 centres have been established and have appointed 2,560 Chief Superintendents, 12,795 superintendents and 25,580 invigilators for the examinations.
Results will be announced by June 1:
HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao said that the DSC will be held as per schedule and the results will be announced by June 1.
