Congress,Special Status of AP,Special Status and financial package of AP,Union Government continues dodge issue,Venkaiah Naidu granting Special Status of AP

The Congress Party, which has lost its charm in Andhra Pradesh, is now swiftly making plans to fight for Special Status of AP in an attempt to regain the lost glory. It is apparent that the Andhra Pradesh state government has been asking Centre tooth and nail over the grant of Special Status and financial package whereas the Union Government continues dodge the issue.

In addition, the Union Minister of Urban development Venkaiah Naidu admitted that granting Special Status is difficult task however he also said that it's under consideration. Even the principal Opposition in state YSRCP seems to be tight lipped on the issue making a clear way for Congress. Cashing on this situation, the Congress party finally decided to fight with BJP in the Parliament demanding the grant of Special Package and Special Status immediately to Andhra Pradesh.

State Congress leaders have taken up this issue to Sonia Gandhi's notice and our sources say that heated discussions took place in Congress' war room. Alerted with sudden plans of Congress, Venkaiah Naidu clarified that they haven't ruled out Special Status grant to AP but reiterated that it involves Herculean process. If the Congress party plays a pivotal role in achieving this Special status for AP then the "dead" Congress party might have fair chances of gaining back "life" in AP and sustain its political career whereas "winning hearts" is too far from reality.
