Hyderabad: Commercial Taxes Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav stated that he was ready to face by-elections in Sanathnagar Assembly constituency. Talasani had resigned from as TDP MLA before taking oath as minister in the cabinet of Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao on December 16, 2014. However, his resignation is yet to be accepted by Speaker S Madhusudan Chary.
Speaking to mediapersons after meeting newly elected GHMC Corporators here on Saturday, Talasani said that the results of GHMC elections have proved that TRS would win every election held anywhere in the Telangana State, including Hyderabad. Therefore, he said he was ready to face by-elections at any moment.
Talasani said by voting in favour of TRS, people gave a clear message that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu was not needed in Hyderabad. He said people were extremely happy with the performance of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He also claimed that the TRS was implementing all the promises that it made in its manifesto.
Challenging BJP MLAs, he asked them to construct at least 1,000 units of 2BHK flats in their respective constituencies with the assistance from BJP-led NDA government at the Centre.
