Hyderabad: Noted Telangana folk singer Madhupriya who hit headlines for marital issues was counseled for six long hours. In fact she was counseled along with her husband, Srikanth at the Humayaun Nagar police station on Sunday where she went with complaint against her husband.
Psychologists Dr. Raadik, Vasanth and Shanti, with Humayun Nagar Inspector S. Ravinder and Asifnagar ACP Ghouse Mohiuddin spoke to the estranged couple and the psychologists tried to find out what went wrong with the duo and in their relationship.
What is noteworthy here is that soon after the counseling, Madhupriya went on saying that Srikanth is a nice man and that she does not want to have any legal action taken against him as of now.
It was on Saturday morning, the singer filed complaint with police alleging that Srikanth has been torturing her mentally and physically. It should be noted that Madhupriya fell in love with Srikanth and married him only few months back against her family wishes.
