Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly has decided to appeal High Court's order on YCP MLA Roja's suspension. The Assembly is considering to appeal to the the division bench of the High court by the secretary of the Assembly.
As per the reports, the secretary will bring to the notice of the court that it should not interfere in the affairs of the House, as per Article 212 of the Constitution.
AP Minister Bonda Uma Maheshwar rao, stated that it is the responsibility of everyone to protect the dignity of the legislature. Speaking at the media point of assembly, he said that the decision of suspension is made by the House but not the speaker.
The legislature did not receive any copies of the judgment of the High Court yet. Decision will be taken after the House receive anys copies of the judgment of the High Court, said Bonda Uma.
