Andhra Pradesh state government's talks with Kapu agitation leader Mudragada Padmanabham were successful. Mudragada has agreed to quit his indefinite fast on condition that demands would meet in certain time frame.
AP government said it'd appoint Manjunadh Commission and committee would give its report within 7 weeks. AP government has resolved the issue with a solution that appeals to all sections.
AP minister Atchannaidu, TDP state unit president Kala Venkat Rao had talks with Mudragada couple on Monday at Deeksha place. Apparently, Mudragada sought Rs whopping fund for Kapu community from the state government to which AP government said to have agreed to allot Rs 1500 Crore.
However, government made it clear that it can't release a GO regarding the same but assured to allot Rs 1500 Crore to Kapus towards various developmental activities.
Mudragada was undergone medical tests as he had been fasting. Doctors stated that he's normal. Mudragada is expected to end his fast as he got assurance from AP government to which he responded positively.
However, Mudragada said he would bounce back if government won't keep its promises in the defined time frame. After a lot of chaos, looks like Kapu agitation has ended on good note. This came exactly a day after Pawan's open request to AP government.
