Mudragada's Hunger strike Called off

Ministers Yerram Naidu and kala Venkata rao today met kapu leader Mudragada Padmanabham at the latter's residence in kirlampudi and held discussion for about one-and-a -half-hour. As per the reports, the discussions of the Ministers with kapu leader Mudragada seems to be fruitful as the latter has now allowed the doctors for treating him.
The Ministers had discussions over 4 major issues-

1. Manjunadha commission Report

2. Members of the Kapu Commission

3. Funds to Kapu corporation

4. Cases on Kapus over Tuni Incident

Kapunadu leader Mudragada Padmanabham, who is on an indefinite hunger strike seeking BC quota for Kapus, had called off his hunger strike in the afternoon on Monday. Sources in the TDP said that talks between Mudragada and MLA Thota Trimurthulu and MLC Boddu Bhaskara Rama Rao were fruitful. It is learnt that the TDP leaders have put forth three proposals before Mudragada.

Proposals include to ask Manjunatha Commission to submit its report as quickly as possible, to include Mudragada suggested persons in BC Commission,sanction loans to people of Kapu community, to lift cases on the kapus in the Tuni incident.

The Government had agreed to the above proposals raised by the Kapu leader Mudragada padmanabham.
